That's cool! BTW I'm working on a rhythm mapping tool for games like yours. it's called MBOY Editor (https://vfpe.itch.io/mboy-editor) Do you want to try it for your game? Vic

This game was an experience in the best way possible

Hahaha thank you! :D

A lovely bite-sized delight of a game! Never too heavy like the hash from the cellar on 42nd Street, but not so light it leaves you wanting.  Really, a surreal evergreen treat. :D

Haha thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!! :D

I come back to this game every once a while and have a ball

Such a bizarre experience but I find myself coming back to this

This was an absolute joy to play. I actually teared up a few times while playing it not being able to fully see the notes to be played inevitability ruining my score but alas.

I will be awaiting a second game hopefully in the near future, haha Gatsby dies

Delightful.

I'm simply touched by this absolute masterpiece. Well done old sport

(+1)

Why thank you old bean, glad to be appreciated by the man himself!

(+2)

Absolutely love this. As a big fan of WarioWare and other wacky/surreal minigame experiences, it's right up my alley. So much funnier being from a famous work.

(+2)

Ahh thank you! :D Loving the WarioWare comparison hells yes haha, glad you liked it!

Hey Rob! Here's a write-up of your game in Techdirt! https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20210313/11103946415/game-jam-winner-spotlight...

Thanks man! I saw they were doing weekly write-ups of the entries and had been patiently waiting for my turn haha!

Congratulations on winning best Digital Game of the Gaming Like It's 1925 jam!

Thanks!! And thank you for telling me about it! I was very happy at the thought of a panel of judges playing this bizarre thing I made haha, I'm glad they liked it! :)

It's been my pleasure. Now you can truthfully and honestly call yourself an "award-winning game developer". ;-)

Delightful!

Thank you! :)

This is great! The ranking system at the end made me laugh out loud.

Please submit this game to the Gaming Like It's 1925 game jam

This is one of those games that makes me so grateful that we have a public domain; because great remixes like your game can legally be done!

Oh wow I didn't know this jam was a thing! I see another couple of glorious Gatsbys in there too haha, I'll check it out thanks!

>Edit: I missed your second sentence in my message preview! (rookie mistake lol) Thanks for the kind words and yeah you can have all kinds of nonsense fun haha :)

Thank you so, so much!

Oh, and I edited my second statement in, which was probably why you weren't able to read it! No need to apologize, the culpa is all mea!

(+1)

Haha perfect! We'll just edit back-and-forth and confuse each other forever lol ;)

And I've submitted! I'll have to check out the other submissions!

Wonderful! You made something fantastic and I hope you win a prize!

Thanks you're too kind! :D

Well, I know what I'm going to be playing at random intervals on this cold Saturday night! We both think this has some seriously good Monty Python-ish traits to it, mainly the whole game. I also like the part with the face that speaks like Robert, 5/5!

(+1)

Haha thanks Shane! The worrying part is it's actually a self-portrait, the fact it looks a bit like the book cover is purely coincidental o_O

(+2)

Truly lovely.

You are too kind my good fellow :)
